Little Patch of Heaven Bed & Breakfast Come relax and enjoy the sunsets in our private three bedroom B&B situated near the Souris river in the heart of deer and fowl country.

We are situated between the towns of Hartney and Souris. Close to the Souris river in the heart of deer country. Hartney has a museum that has recently been the centre of two movies. There is a co-op grocery store and card lock gas bar, two restaurants and other small stores. They also have a fine 9-hole golf course, swimming pool and a new skating, curling arena. Souris has many attractions with

the swinging bridge, bird sanctuary, rock quarry and restaurants.We invite you to stay in our three-bedroom 1-1/2 story private guesthouse. With a double bed and fouton in the spacious up stairs room and a double-single bunk bed in one room and a queen bed in the other room down stairs. A modern kitchen, full bath and laundry facilities make this getaway a home away from home. There is also a large entry that can be used to entertain a large number of guests for a family gathering.You can enjoy the summer evenings sitting in the yard watching a sunset around the fire pit, near all the flower gardens. You can take a short walk to the river. A small garden at the guesthouse has been planted to supply you with fresh seasonal vegetables just for the picking. In the winter you can enjoy tobogganing and riding your snowmobile on the groomed trails in the area.We have a mixed farm and run a large herd of cattle with calving in the spring and fall. You are welcome to join us in some of the seasonal farm work. Besides the cattle we have horses, kittens and dogs. We have facilities for horses if you have your own and want to ride and enjoy the scenery. Your pets accepted on approval.9 miles west from Souris on #2 highway to the junction of #2 and #21. Then you take the gravel road south 4 miles.Or when coming from Hartney you go 6 miles north on #21 Highway to Menteith School Road. Go east on that road 3 miles then south to the first yard.

If you are wanting to get in some deer hunting next week we have had days open up! The hunting is great in the area. Nobody has gone home empty handed yet. All groups have tagged out early.
