Ski season isn’t over yet! We headed to Manning Park for some family friendly fun on the slopes - it was perfect conditions and no line ups. Just a 40 minute drive from the cabin - there’s still several weeks of ski season left (including spring break), what are you waiting for?

December 1st - the first dusting of snow this week and it’s starting to feel very Christmassy. There are so many fun Christmas events and places to check out in the Fraser Valley over the holidays, or just stay in, get cozy and relax.

Wildflower season is here! We love seeing all the vibrant colours in the summer - we even tried planting some wild flowers of our own and they have just started blooming 🌻🪻🌺

🚫 FIRE BAN NOTICE – Effective Thursday, July 17 at 12:00 PM 🚫

The Coastal Fire Centre has announced a full fire ban starting Thursday, July 17 at noon. This includes all campfires, open burning, tiki torches, and outdoor wood-burning appliances.

Please help us protect our forests and community by respecting this ban.

What’s allowed:
✅ CSA-approved or ULC-rated portable propane campfire units
✅ Gas or propane stoves for cooking

Summer at the cabin is the best! We spent 2 weeks here and did so much - our location is perfect for so many day trips, ranging from a 20 min drive to an hour drive depending on what you want to do. Or just sit back and do nothing.
