A Large group of cattle has invaded. Pleez come & retrieve them. Mostly brown cows some with white markings. No identification pictures or info yet due to darkness. Will update asap if possible. Please no free range comments as we are completely knowledgeable of the regulations. Thank you in advance.

EDIT: Have not seen or heard, pun intended, them all day. We think our LHGD worked them off the property, probably headed east.

We have a large group of cattle on our place.

NEWS - SPEED RECORD FOR ROPE SOLO ASCENT OF THE NOSE SHATTERED

Nick Ehman comes from one of the flattest States in the Union, Indiana. Today he is the current Jones of Yosemite.

Nick has been reclaiming his lost youth in flat country for years, taking up residency in The Valley. He is also a YSAR Team Member. Nick found his girlfriend there, El Capitan and fell in love with her Nose. Indiana Nick has sneezed the Nose over 36 times and on October 10th blew the the record for its fasted rope solo ascent. Steal a moment to take this in; 4h:39m. That’s an hour and eleven minutes faster than the previous Speedy Gonzales, Alex Honnold.

The need for speed on the big stone is like Evil Kneivel is to bikers. It requires a similar commitment to weight as an Olympic gymnast and technical mastery where every piece of gear that has little purpose is jettisoned and techniques not found in Learn to Climb books are let loose. You sort of aid, free climb, and trust your luck, switching things like sanity and your cell phone off while duelling with the Devil in high places.

The speed thing on the Nose has had a hiatus of late so this new record will tickle others to find a new gear and QuickDraw McGraw their way to break this bad boy’s record.

This is posted despite the expected comments re: fencing / free range rights etc. We know, understand & accept 100% our culpability in this equation. These are not Fred's animals. He came with his wonderful dogs and collected his a couple of weeks back.

They've been roaming our place for a few weeks. They have been generally well behaved until today when they broke through our barn door to get at the contents. They are out there currently trying to break in again (thus we dare this post).

We won't mention they are pillaging the last morsel of pasture we have left for our animals in the time of drought & sky high prices for hay if it's available. Yes, we put some salt out for them at a fair distance from the barn, but it has been consumed. They are actively interfering with our ability to manage our animals.

PLEASE : We are asking for some neighbourly consideration. PLEASE. If these are your cloven hoof assets, would you be kind enough to claim them. We would be most appreciative.
