SPRING UPDATE
Breeding season is almost here!! Putting a few old birds into retirement as layers and adding some new breeds this spring!! We are extremely excited to be adding some standard blue cochins (loved our bantams so much we decided to get some standards) as well as white silkies!!! Possibly cuckoo marans and blue Orpingtons. We do not have as many buff Orpingtons this year due to a skunk attack after we sold the POLs, however we do have some wonderful lavender, black, and blue Easter eggers that are starting to lay (all blue layers with muffs!!) That will be used for this year's EE hatching. We unfortunately lost our beltsville tom so beltsvilles will not be available until a replacement is found. However our Welsh harlequins and muscovys are ready to breed and laying (the welsh are) so lots of ducklings will be available this year. Our silkies are also laying and with the pullets from last year we have a variety of colour. Please have patience with us as all this snow has made for a difficult time getting birds into breeding pens to get ready for spring hatching.
