Clear sky & calm conditions for the 2nd Stargaze McBride Event- what an incredible night under the stars! We enjoyed crystal clear skies, watched twilight turn to darkness, identified constellations and the Perseid Meteor Shower put on a show!

Thanks to everyone that came out camping, or came out for a drive - we are so glad you made it out to learn about the night sky 💫 The turn out was great, more than we even expected and we already can’t wait to build on it more for next year!

The Perseid Meteor Shower peaks Aug 12-13, there’s still lots of time to enjoy the show ☄️

Tonight’s Stargaze Event is going ahead! We would only cancel if it happens to be raining at 9pm - weather is looking good for later, even if it’s cloudy we plan to start at 9! The night includes a visual presentation with stargazing/ meteor shower viewing tips you can use anytime ✨ see you under the stars at the lake!
