June might be our favourite month.

The lake is waking up. The mornings are quiet. The beach is waiting. And summer feels like it’s finally around the corner.

There’s something special about being here before the season is in full swing.

If you didn’t know this was Muskoka, you might guess it was somewhere along the East Coast shoreline.

Soft lake breeze, sun on the grass, quiet water, and one of our most coveted traditional lakefront cottages sitting just steps from it all.

Cottage 16 is the kind of place where days slow down naturally. Morning swims, barefoot walks back from the dock, late afternoon sunshine through the windows, and evenings that seem to last forever.

Honestly, these cottages are what Blue Water Acres has always been about.

It’s May 1st ☀️ and time of year is special here at Blue Water Acres.

We find with fewer guests it’s the perfect time to experience and enjoy those little moments around the resort. No waiting for a turn in the canoes, or a lakeside chair. No bugs quite yet while enjoying lakefront views while dinner is cooking on the bbq or sharing stories around the fire pit.

All our amenities are open and waiting, including the always popular indoor pool, sauna and hot tub. Fewer guests, more room to enjoy.

It’s one of our favourite seasons.
