come and see and you won't want to leave! We are located approximately 2.5 hours directly north of the city of Toronto in the heart of beautiful Muskoka. This one bedroom apartment on the lower level of our cottage contains a comfortable queen size four-poster bed, spacious living/dining room area, a self-contained kitchen and a tub/shower combo in your private bathroom. Beautiful hickory hardwood flooring is found throughout with the exception of carpet in the living/dining room area. If you are looking for a true Muskoka cottage experience, this is it! With a gas fireplace and forced air gas furnace you will never be cold, even in the dead of winter. During the hot summer months, you will enjoy indoor comfort with central air conditioning. This space also comes equipped with cable TV and wireless internet service. Fresh bedding, towels, shampoo, conditioner and a blow dryer are available. The kitchen is fully equipped, including condiments with tea and coffee. (grocery stores are a 5 minute drive into town). Though we do not provide laundry facilities, there is an outdoor clothes line for bathing suits and towels (laundromats are a short distance away in town). A three seasonal propane BBQ is outside your patio door for your use. Down by the water, you'll find traditional Muskoka chairs and a picnic table. You are welcome to swim in and around our sandy beach and dock, but no diving is allowed as the water is shallow. You can launch your canoe or kayak steps from your private entrance or rent either of these vessels from a local outfitter’s business in town. You can even cast your line off the dock to try your hand at catching Rock Bass!
