After almost 37 years, we are saying goodbye to someone who has helped shape who we are today, our friend and colleague, Sherry Stroud is retiring!
Sherry was one of the first employees hired by the manager back in 1989 when we were just opening as a Journeys End, starting off with cleaning the new rooms to running the Front Desk department. Sherry did it all to help us succeed and provide great service to our guests.

Thank you Sherry for your years of hard work, your commitment, all the moments (big and small) that made this journey so special. We are excited for you as you step into this next chapter. Wishing you all the happiness and relaxation that retirement brings!

We wanted to share that a few weeks ago we lost one of our Comfort Inn family.
Maria Vasily worked with our Housekeeping team for the last few years. She defined the term “Tough old lady”, Maria dealt with several health related issues but continued to do a great job and maintained a full time schedule. She kept on pace with our younger staff and we admired her dedication. Maria was an inspiration to all of us on how to overcome any obstacles through hard work and determination.
We will miss her greatly.
