A few weeks ago, we hosted a session for nervous parents of nervous campers presented by Emma Fogel (MSW, RSW) - an expert in the field. Emma was a camper and staff member for years at an Ontario Camp. Her current practice includes many families of campers headed to camp this summer! Emma offers incredibly helpful, supportive, accessible, and practical counsel for parents and campers who may be experiencing some pre-camp anxiousness.
Fortunately, we videotaped her presentation from a few weeks ago! Over the next few Tuesdays and Wednesdays, we will post “soundbites” from Emma’s presentation - beginning today!

Here at Camp Tawingo, we are busy preparing the site and our staff for another wonderful summer! We've organized an event that we hope may help you prepare your camper for a fun, rewarding, and successful camp experience this summer, too!

We're proud to be one of several Overnight Camps in the province who have come together to offer our families an opportunity to attend a session by the highly-esteemed, Emma Fogel, MSW. Emma spent many summers as a camper and staff member at overnight camp, and brings her love of camp and her recognition of how important it can be in a child's development to her practice. Emma's primary focus will be helping campers (and their parents) navigate any pre-camp anxiousness they may have.

Where: Holy Blossom, Mishkan Room (Toronto)

When: Thursday, May 28th @7:30pm

Important: Attendance is free of charge, but space is limited and first come, first served. Please note, it is recommended that this session be attended by
