What a wonderful summer. We are packed up and back in Thunder Bay, its good to be home but I am already missing the view! A huge THANK YOU to Deborah Duguid (Debbie) and Rene for making this year one of the easiest! With out Debbie my cabins would of never looked so good...and Rene for all the little (and big) things my Dad would of took for ever to be able to get to. Thanks of course to all my guests too...it was great year, the place looks good...and one of the easiest shut downs we have ever did, thankfully Jo stayed and help with the heavy lifting! Of course I am looking forward already to next year, but for now, I will be deep cleaning and chomping at the bit to get the Christmas tree up! Thanks to everyone that made our year great!!!

After spending the last 3 weeks cleaning brush and trees off of our driveway ditches...hard sweaty labor, one truck load left to do and this happens...between our cabin and the Moose Cabin...love a good rain/wind storm but why not take down the dead trees I want knocked down...??? Clean up on aisle 9...no rest for the wicked!!!

Life is good...I cleaned my patio doors today, and I felt lucky! Lucky I have guests, friends, and family around to make my patio doors dirty...I found happiness in cleaning the floors and toilets, its weird but I am blessed to have dirty toilets! Its the little things that help me live my best life!!! Happy Thursday everyone...count your blessing and surround yourselves with positivity!

Saturday - 9 am - 8 pm

I am looking to hire a woman and a man...preferably a couple, but not real important. We are looking for 2 people to help at our hunting and fishing resort...somewhere between 20 and 30 hours a week. The rest of the time you can can stay, fish, enjoy summer. May to Oct. good wage provided...would be perfect if you had your own trailer to set up at the lodge...but again, not real important. Use of our boats and motors. Hours are flexible but Saturdays are a must...long day.
If you have your own trailer we have a secluded private spot...with water and electricity and sewer.
PM me if you know someone or are interested yourself.
Must be hard working and be able to get out of bed.
