We have a pleasant surprise at the Thirsty Hiker Pub on Wednesday August 20th at 7 pm. June Eysel is there all the way from Sarasota Florida to attend the Hot August Blues festival in Sydney. She is making a stop to play some fabulous tunes for us. What a treat. Don't miss it!! Look her up and have a listen.

Ingonish Chalets would not exist without Jill Humphries. She saw the vision and worked incredibly hard to establish this place. This place we see as paradise now, and that has served many of us a lifetime of joy with family and friends. Kind, loving, determined she was.
All of those sweet memories, coming up to see family and my aunt in the summer months was everything. The reason to make it through the year. The reason why im back here today. I remember all of the homemade birthday cakes and all the places you would take me as a child..every cute store, beautiful look off, and theater in the woods.
Nobody loved this place more. Rest peacefully aunt Jill, we love you.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jill Deborah Humphries who left us peacefully on June 25, 2025 at the age of 72 years.
