Would there be any interest in an Easter weekend delivery run? 🐣

We'll be delivering snacks from Iron Bridge to Elliot Lake on Saturday, April 4th, exact arrival time TBD (likely between 12-3PM, depending on the amount of orders)

🌷 Miniumum 6 snacks per order
🌷 $3 delivery fee on orders under $30
🌷 Cash upon delivery or e-transfer in advance
🌷 Orders will close Wednesday, April 1st

60 days until opening!

The snow is still blowing, quite literally lol, but we've got camping on our minds 🏕

Friday, May 15th is the official start of the Viking season!

The Snack Shack will be open Saturday, May 16th and Sunday, May 17th 🍩✨️

We're currently taking reservations, but seasonal sites are very limited - contact us to book your stay!

And.. it's over!

Just like that, another season has come and gone here at Viking 🏕

With the welcoming of a new baby, we had mixed feelings and (admittedly) low expectations for this season at the park..

But every year, we learn something new about running a business.. and this year taught us that connection and community conquer all ❤️

What a blessing it is to have so many wonderful guests, new and returning, speak so highly of our campground. There were a few weeks this season where our little park was fully booked, a huge accomplishment for our small business – thank you!

Despite our very limited hours at the Shack, our dedicated snackers showed up and we sold an incredible amount of snacks each and every weekend – thank you!

Regardless of our original expectations, somehow this season became the most successful year for the Viking crew – and we owe it all to you!

Next year, we're anticipating some changes and improvements to the park and the Shack that are sure to make a splash 💦💦💦

To all of our snackers, new and returning, thank you for all of your support this season!

Our hours were very limited this year as we figured out a routine with the new guy 👶 (most of you saw him napping on the job lol)

But you still showed up for us each weekend and continued to spread the word about our doughnuts!

We can't thank you enough 🫂

Mel's Snack Shack is officially closed for the season, but feel free to reach out about orders during the off-season – as always, we'll do our best to accommodate 🤗

As for the campground, we are keeping the park open for a little while longer, so long as the weather continues to co-operate 🏕

Today is our LAST DAY in the Shack 🥹😭🙌

We've got plenty of snacks and some pies left if you're in need of a sweet treat or last-minute dessert for Thanksgiving dinner 🥧

It's a beautiful day for some snacks 🌞

Mel's Snack Shack is open until 6PM 🍩✨️

🚨 Next weekend will be our last weekend in the Shack! Where did the time go?! Hard to believe the season is almost done.

We will have plenty of fall snacks and Thanksgiving treats – including pumpkin pie doughnuts, actual pumpkin pies, and dinner rolls.

Orders are welcome! Thanksgiving is typically our busiest weekend, so please place your order in advance so you can leave the Shack happy ❤️
