The Junior Ranger Program launches May 15 at both Cameron's Beach and Rice Lake.

Short-stay guests: Passport at check-in. Complete challenges during your stay. Earn your certificate.

Seasonal campers: 8-week challenge series starting June 21. Sunday stamp-ins. 6+ stamps gets you invited to the End-of-Season Ranger Campfire on August 28.

Three age tiers. Real challenges. Certificates signed by us.

We packed up and drove south for the Camping in Ontario Spring Meeting 2026 — first thing we noticed? Green grass! We almost didn’t know what to do with ourselves. 😄 The meeting was held inside the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum. What an unreal venue to have this in!
A gathering of campground owners and industry partners who genuinely love what they do. These meetings are always so informative — it’s the best way to stay connected and up to date on everything happening in the industry.
We’re heading home with our heads full, notes taken and a long drive to process it all. Season opens in just over 5 weeks — let’s go. 🏕️

POV: You open in 6 weeks but there's still 6 feet of snow on the ground

We open May 15th.
The sites are buried. The bathrooms are somewhere under there. The lake's still frozen.
And we're just… waiting for the snow to melt so we can actually start preseason work.
