Another season is behind us at Skitchine Lodge.

It was a season of making new friends and reconnecting with old ones. We shared great meals, swapped stories around the lakeside campfire, and spent unforgettable days surrounded by the beauty of the wilderness.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this another memorable year. The memories we've made in our special corner of paradise will stay with us long after the season ends.

Until next year, thank you for being part of the Skitchine Lodge family.

Skitchine Lodge is pleased to welcome Scott Sadil, angling editor of Gray's Sporting Journal, and world-renowned photographer Brian O'Keefe to the lodge!

Here's a sneak peek at just a few of Brian's stunning images from their very first day on the water with us.

Stay tuned for more great photos, and keep an eye out for an upcoming feature on Skitchine Lodge in Gray's Sporting Journal!

One of the great things about fishing at Skitchine Lodge is that you can catch wild rainbow trout on dry flies all season long. Or I should say you have the opportunity to catch them. Here's me on Sunday showing you how NOT to catch fish on a dry fly at Skitchine Lodge.

And just like that we're already halfway through the 2026 season at Skitchine Lodge. The forests are getting greener every year following the 2021 fire, and the fish continue to bite. Book your trip today before the season is over. We'd love to welcome you before we close on September 15.

The trails have all been cleared which can only mean one thing: Skitchine Lodge is open for the season!

Many thanks to the Kamloops Fire Crew who once again have ensured that our trails are walkable for our guests this season. We love hosting your group each year and always appreciate your efforts!

The word from the crew is that fish are jumping in all of our 15 lakes. Each lake is accessible by a 5 to 30 minute walk from the main lake, and now we know the trails are clear. If you've never visited us, now is the time!
