It's a beautiful clear morning at Skitchine Lodge. We are down to the last month in our season. With limited availability between now and closing, today is the day to book a trip. September fishing is spectacular!

One of the great things about fishing at Skitchine Lodge is that you can catch wild rainbow trout on dry flies all season long. Or I should say you have the opportunity to catch them. Here's me on Sunday showing you how NOT to catch fish on a dry fly at Skitchine Lodge.

The trails have all been cleared which can only mean one thing: Skitchine Lodge is open for the season!

Many thanks to the Kamloops Fire Crew who once again have ensured that our trails are walkable for our guests this season. We love hosting your group each year and always appreciate your efforts!

The word from the crew is that fish are jumping in all of our 15 lakes. Each lake is accessible by a 5 to 30 minute walk from the main lake, and now we know the trails are clear. If you've never visited us, now is the time!
