A look back at the 2026 Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association AGM & Summit in City of Kamloops. ✨

From using tourism research to better understand changing visitor patterns to strengthening community partnerships, sustainability, and crisis communication, this year’s Summit offered plenty to reflect on. One key takeaway: a stronger tourism industry starts with stronger communities, meaningful collaboration, and a shared understanding of the value tourism brings.

Thank you to TOTA, Tourism Kamloops, Business Council of British Columbia, Super, Natural British Columbia, Destination Canada, Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen, Salmon Arm Economic Development Society, and everyone else who made these conversations possible. The 2026 Ladies Fishing Derby brought three unforgettable days to Campbell River, from early mornings on the boats to good food, friendly competition and celebrations back at the hotel.

Our team had a fantastic day at the 2026 CITAP+ Hidi Nishi Summer Event, connecting with travel trade partners from across Canada and showcasing what makes RZH Hotels, and our BC properties... a destination worth experiencing.
