Hi all. I hate to have to post this, but it’s very evident that integrity, common sense or respect, isn’t something everybody obtains.
Laclu Landing is Private Property!
It is a privilege that we allow anyone to use our property, beach or boat ramp.
We’ve spent thousands of dollars maintaining our lawns, so we don’t appreciate people ripping across them on quads!
We also maintain our driveways. They are NOT highways. So please STOP driving so fast through our yard!
Our boat ramp is used by many. It is on the “honour system”. (The honor box is located at the top of the ramp.) For most, this system works well, but for some….lets just say, they try to be sneaky and hope we wont notice.
This is how we make our living. We DO notice, and we also notice that if you can afford the boat you’re backing down our ramp, you surely can afford the $10.00 ramp fee!
And finally, for those who use our beach, please teach your children to pack away the water toys they use. Too often, we are out retrieving boogie boards that have been left floating in the water.
It really saddens me that i have to post this!
RESPECT is all we’re asking for.
If you want the privilege to continue, don’t abuse it!
