Put the Critter Coating to work tonight to make some homemade chicken fingers!

If you miss the fish and chips back from our restaurant days, this is exactly what we used! As a corn flour product, it is naturally gluten free and very versatile. The bottles and bags hold the same product, only in different quantities.

Available here at the lodge, or various locations in Kenora including Rabbit Lake Store, Keewatin Place, Redden’s, Sunset Baits, and Lake of the Woods Sports Headquarters!

Reminder: we do not offer amenities to people renting private cottages or AirBnbs. Our beach and parking lot are private and for our guests only. Private renters please use the public boat launches available in Kenora.

Our full service gas and bait shop has everything you need to enjoy a great day on the lake. We carry live minnows, worms, ice, and tackle.

Our Lodge is home to a collection of taxidermy, pictures, and oddities that has been built over our 56 year history. Each animal, item, and trinket has a story, and if you ask, you’ll hear it! People are often in awe of what’s inside, and make comments like, “This is what I call a real Canadian lodge!” Or, “You just don’t see places like this anymore!” Let’s just say, minimalism is not our thing.

It is often asked what the Lodge is used for now that the restaurant and bar are permanently closed. It remains a communal gathering spot our cabin guests and growing family. It’s also where you’ll find our office and gift shop. It certainly doesn’t sit empty!
