Happy landing day to PEI’s fall lobster fishers! 🦞

Over the past two months, fishers across LFA 25 have put in early mornings, long days and plenty of hard work to bring the fall catch ashore.

Join us in congratulating our fall fishers for another great season.

There is something about a summer sunset on PEI that makes life’s problems seem to melt away. 💛

Stay at clintonpond.com in the heart of Anne's Land.

“It was a gracious evening, full of delectable lights and shadows. In the west was a sky of mackerel clouds-crimson and amber-tinted, with long strips of apple-green sky between. Beyond was the glimmering radiance of a sunset sea, and the ceaseless voice of many waters came up from the tawny shore.” L.M. Montgomery, Anne’s House of Dreams

The harbours are buzzing again! 🦞. Fall setting day!!!

At 6 a.m., Island fishers headed out with their first load of traps. Now, they’re back at the harbour reloading their boats before heading out again. With each PEI fishing licence allowing between 250 and 300 traps, depending on the fishing area, it takes multiple trips throughout the day to get them all out to sea.
