Prince Edward Lodge No. 14

Prince Edward Lodge No. 14 Grand Lodge issued a Dispensation to Prince Edward Lodge February 21, 1885. It is one of the strongest rural Lodges in the Jurisdiction.

On February 5, 1885 the Brethren of Mount Zion Lodge No. 12 in Kensington unanimously approved a resolution of support for a Prayer of Petition by fourteen Brethren desirous of instituting a Masonic Lodge at Stanley Bridge. Ten of the petitioners were members of Mount Zion Lodge. Grand Lodge issued a Dispensation to Prince Edward Lodge dated February 21, 1885. Prince Edward Lodge is well into its

second century as one of the strongest rural Lodges in the Jurisdiction. Its rich history tells of strict adherence to the principles of charity and universal benevolence. Its membership has included a strong roster of leaders in the Jurisdiction, orators, writers, talented craftsmen, ritualists and responsible stewards. Most of those same members have been duly honoured by the Brethren of the Lodge through Honour Nights, gifts and memorials. Congratulations, Brethren, as you celebrate one-hundred and fifteen years of Freemasonry in the New London area!
