The Species at Risk Working Group-Shkakamik Kwe Genwemaajig ("Those Who Work for Mother Earth") met with Two Row Architects to share ideas and explore concepts for the new Outdoor Discovery Centre.

For many participants, this was their first visit to the park, providing an opportunity to learn about the landscape, its significance, and the vision for the future Discovery Centre. Their perspectives and knowledge will help shape a space that reflects the park's natural and cultural values.

This kind of meaningful community engagement ensures the Discovery Centre is guided by collaboration, shared Anishinaabe knowledge, and a vision that honours both the land and the people of Wiikwemkoong.
