This is the first 7 kg of our harvest so far this year. The more time that I spend with them, the kinder and gentler they “ beecome “ ( thus the name of our honey ). For us it’s a labour of love as we gently take care of our symbiotic relationship. They survive, we survive.

ACCORDING TO GOOGLE:

It takes the lifetime work of roughly 11,800 to 12,000 honeybees to produce 7 kilograms of honey.

Because honey production is a collective colony effort rather than the work of a single insect, entomologists and beekeeping organizations calculate this using lifetime averages:

The Teaspoon Rule:

A single worker bee produces about 1/12 th. of a teaspoon of honey in her entire six-week working lifetime.

The Volume:

7 kilograms of honey equals roughly 986 teaspoons. The Flower Visits: Bees must visit approximately 28 million flowers (4 million visits per kilogram) and fly the equivalent of roughly 21 trips around the world to gather enough nectar for 7 kilograms.

For more than 20 years, Athletica Lac Brome has been built on a simple belief: healthier communities begin with healthier people. Throughout those years, I have had the privilege of helping individuals discover strength, resilience, and well-being, one person at a time.

Today, I would like to share another passion of mine, beekeeping, and introduce what I affectionately call my newest wellness team: my landscaping crew of bees.

Unlike us, bees ask for nothing in return. Their sole purpose is to serve the health of their community. Every flower they visit, every field they pollinate, and every drop of honey they create contributes to a stronger, healthier ecosystem for all. They work tirelessly, not for themselves, but for the greater good.

In many ways, their mission mirrors what we have always believed at Athletica Lac Brome: that true wellness is not measured by what we take, but by what we contribute to the people and communities around us.

That is the inspiration behind BEECOME Honey.

More than honey, it is a celebration of health, community, and nature's remarkable ability to nourish us. Every jar represents the dedication of thousands of bees working together to create something pure, local, and beneficial.

Welcome to BEECOME Honey, where sharing health is our wealth, and where every spoonful tells the story of a community working together to help one another thrive. We are NOT selling product at this time but my simple wish is to share health and happiness.

Should you see them in amongst your flowers or in your garden, thank them,
