Today I Tagged along with some wonderful guest and explored the unique and awesome resettled community of Tilt Cove.

Tilt cove is enriched with so much history from a once booming mine town to now empty echoes. Tilt cove is fascinating and still holds so much opportunity within its mineral enriched rocks and soil. We walked up to the Queen of Swansea monument it’s quite rugged but so glad to have finally have seen it in person. Beautiful fall days are meant to be explored. Come visit us!

A little visit to the resettled town of Round Harbour. So quiet and beautiful. If the walls of these houses could talk, I can imagine the stories they could tell. I love it here ❤️

We have some awesome guest staying with us this week. They used some Newfoundland Cod to make a dish that her Mom would make for her and her family in Holland. She was so sweet to share with me and it was delicious.

Kabbeljauw is the dutch name for codfish.
and my mo. served it to us kids with lots of the sauce, saying: "lots of sauce because fish likes to swim".

I love when people share there traditions and food choices with me. In return I love sharing our Newfoundland with them ❤️
