Our favourite events are the ones that support a meaningful local cause while inviting guests to experience every corner of the estate.

We were blessed with a beautiful Okanagan day to welcome members of the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra (Okanagan Symphony Orchestra) and Okanagan Symphony Youth Orchestra for Music & W**e in the Vines, an afternoon of live music, estate w**es, and time spent among the vines in support of their work.

We’re pleased to share that our Commonage entrance is now fully paved, completing the final approach to O’Rourke Family Estate.
A smoother, more considered arrival for our guests and, for those who appreciate beautiful things on four wheels, an invitation to bring the special car.

Ancient granite soils, the influence of Okanagan Lake, our vineyards, gardens, orchards and wild-foraged ingredients come together across five considered courses by Culinary Director Quinton Bennett and Executive Chef Julien Lamrani.

At 2:30 PM, enter a world carved into 140-million-year-old granite with our private Bench Tasting & Tour. Journey through the estate’s architecture and underground cave network, discovering the story of the land before settling into our private tasting room, where estate-grown w**es unfold against a view of the vineyard.
As afternoon gives way to evening, continue to Row 188 for a Five-Course Terroir Menu—an elegant expression of place, shaped by Culinary Director Quinton Bennett and Executive Chef Julien Lamrani. Music & W**e in the Vines in support of the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra and Okanagan Symphony Youth Orchestras. Join us September 27 for an intimate afternoon of music, w**e, and exceptional design at O’Rourke Family Estate.

Set among the vineyards overlooking Okanagan Lake, the experience unfolds across five remarkable spaces throughout the estate. From the elegant Upper Lobby and Twisted Pine Platform to The Landing and our subterranean w**e caves.

At each setting, intimate performances by OSO and OSYO musicians are paired with O’Rourke w**es and refined culinary creations by Quinton Bennett.

A considered celebration of the senses, with every moment supporting the next generation of symphony musicians.

Night harvest!

Our vineyard crew started picking Block 6 Pinot Gris at 4 a.m. this morning. Harvesting in the cool early hours keeps the grapes at a lower temperature, which is one of the keys to preserving quality and flavour.

This team’s hard work and dedication is something to see. If you’re pouring a glass of w**e today, raise it to your local w**emaker, cellar hand, viticulturist, or vineyard worker.
