Some hires change the trajectory of a place. This one tells you exactly where we are headed.

We are proud to introduce Quinton Bennett as Culinary Director of O’Rourke Family Estate and Peak Cellars.

A four-time Michelin Star holder, Quinton joins us directly from Enigma Restaurant in Toronto, bringing more than two decades of experience across some of the most celebrated dining rooms in the world, including Hawksworth in Vancouver, Michelin-starred Northcote Manor in England, and Noma in Copenhagen.

He joins Executive Chef Julien Lamrani to build something we believe will become one of North America’s great culinary destinations. A place where the food is as extraordinary as the wines and the setting.

This season at Row 188, we are delighted to welcome Sunday evenings into our weekly service, expanding our five-star dining experience to three nights each weekend.

With Friday, Saturday, and our newly added Sunday service, guests are invited to slow down and settle into the rhythm of the weekend. Sunday evenings bring a particularly intimate energy and opportunity to unwind, reconnect, and enjoy an elevated dining experience in its most immersive setting.

Each evening features a thoughtfully curated three-course or five-course tasting menu, designed to showcase seasonal ingredients and refined technique. For those wishing to further enhance the experience, optional wine pairings are available, carefully selected from our cellar to complement each course and highlight the nuances of every dish.

Whether you choose a shorter curated experience or the full tasting journey, every detail is considered from the first pour to the final bite.

Reservations are required, and seating is limited each evening to ensure an intimate and attentive service.

Bahamas performs live at the O’Rourke Family Estate Amphitheatre on August 8th. Led by Juno Award-winning Canadian songwriter Afie Jurvanen, Bahamas brings warm, melodic indie folk to one of the most stunning outdoor venues in the Okanagan. If you grew up on The Beach Boys, this one will feel familiar.

Doors open at 6:30 pm. Concert starts at 7:30 pm. General admission seating available in the Upper and Lower Bowl. A limited number of pre-concert dining reservations at Row 188 are available exclusively for ticket holders.

Mother’s Day at O’Rourke Family Estate is now a two-day affair.

After an overwhelmingly warm response to our May 10th Mother’s Day Brunch, we’re opening the doors of Granite Café on Saturday, May 9th as well. Two days. Two chances to gather the ones you love.

A two or three-course brunch, served from 10am to 2:30pm inside the café or, if the weather obliges, on our rooftop pergola patio overlooking the vines.

Young adults aged 14 and older are welcome to join.
Seating is limited. Reservations are required.

Progress update from above.

The paving of Commonage Road from Carrs Landing Road to our estate entrance is coming along beautifully, and we are pouring concrete on the final stretch of our main driveway this week.

This means our main entrance at 15595 Commonage Road is temporarily closed. Guests joining us at Row 188 this weekend can access the estate through our alternate entrance at 15150 Barkley Road.

We look forward to welcoming you on a fully paved arrival in the coming weeks. Thank you for your patience as we put the finishing touches on the journey to O’Rourke Family Estate.

Spring doesn't announce itself loudly here. It arrives quietly, in the first signs of life stirring along the vine rows, in the hum of pollinators returning to the hillside, in the flash of gold across the estate as the arrowleaf balsamroot comes into bloom.

We've been watching it all unfold with a full heart.

The Northern Flicker has returned to the property, its spotted wings catching the morning light as it moves between the old wood. Along our dry-stack rock walls, built by hand stone by stone, the Violet-Green Swallows have come back to nest, swooping low over the vineyard rows in the early evening like they never left.

In the rows themselves, the vines are slowly waking. On warm afternoons, you can find them weeping sap at the pruning cuts, a quiet signal that the roots are drawing up again after a long winter's rest.
