Tucked away in the forest this Old Watch House Of Mayo Lumber Co. , has been transformed with Meticulous detail, for a stay like no other. Located just minutes from town, central to mountain biking, hiking, and multiple lakes.
The space
The Shack sits south of the old Robertson River Railway, and is situated amongst our own personal community, everyone is respectful and keeps to themselves, but don't be a stranger and feel free to say Hello.
Special members of our community also include, free roaming chickens, ducks, turkeys, cats and big friendly dogs.
The Shack is a cozy 1 bedroom, queen size bed, with a walk-in dressing room, 1 bathroom with Shower. 1 doubIe hide a bed in the living room. offers off grid-ISH living, with a small vintage 1950s propane stove, Hot water on demand, and woodstove to warm up by on those cold snowy or rainy days.
*Dry Kindling & Firewood can be purchased from the host when available.
The Shack has been revamped by using recycled Materials from the property, along with some new, but almost every piece is unique and has a story.
Rain or shine the Shack offers 2 beautiful covered decks for your leisure, cool off on the shady back deck or simply listen to the rain beat on the tin roof, while gazing off into Forrest.
If your lucky enough during your stay you may get a visitor from one our Famous Elk, who we have personally named Sven.
We live in a Eco-Sensitive environment, be mindful when using power, water and septic system as these amenities are shared with our community.
The Shack comes fully stocked with fresh linens, towels, soap, coffee, tea, sugar and cream.
There is a BBQ, Propane & wood burning fire pit available to use when permitted.
*Must provide own propane
We have shared Starlink Wifi, and a landline available for those that lack cell service in our area. We also provide a smart TV that can be used with your own personal account.
We are very central to an abundance of mountain biking and walking trails, best app is Trail Forks, so don't forget to bring your bikes!!!
Last but not least we are just minutes away from various beach accesses, some real hidden Gems, for you to enjoy at your leisure.
Produce, Farm Fresh eggs, Firewood can be purchased from host when available.

The Cottage has 1 designated parking space, and any additional company will have to park in the designated visitor parking if available.
Please remember that we have wild and domestic animals, there may be some familiar and unfamiliar sounds and smells.
