Spring 2025 and Borden Bridge Campground is looking for a live on-site couple to help with the day-to-day responsibilities of the operation.
The role requires a blend of technical knowledge and practical experience. The Maintenance Managers must be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively to manage the diverse needs of the campground infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
· Work for the General manager to perform gatehouse, housekeeping, maintenance, and groundskeeping tasks of the campground
· Greet and check-in guests, providing excellent customer service
· Assist with reservations and handle inquiries; email, phone and in-person
· Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the campground facilities
· Ensure compliance with campground rules and regulations
· Perform maintenance tasks, such as site repairs, landscaping, shower and washroom repairs
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in hospitality or campground management is preferred
· Strong people skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Basic knowledge of maintenance items (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.), landscaping and cleaning
· Must be reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
· Previous campground work experience would be considered an asset
Please note that this position requires living on-site at the campground. A campsite will be provided as part of the compensation package.
