This was the scene a little over a week ago—snow, ice, and hundreds of honking Canadian geese. After a mild day today, things are starting to look more like spring (and most of the geese—but not all—have continued on north). We look forward to seeing everyone again this season as we prepare for our first dinner service this Friday. Saturday and Sunday we’re featuring Easter Breakfast specials—reservations recommended. Join us for our Easter Breakfast and Dinner Specials Saturday April 4-Sunday April 5 from 7 am-1 pm and 5 pm-8 pm, respectively. For breakfast we’re featuring Streak & Eggs, Waffles, and Smoked Salmon on a Bagel, and for dinner we have Prime Rib and Traditional Turkey Dinner. Regular breakfast and dinner menus also available. Thank you to everyone that helped make our first Christmas Market yesterday a success! To the amazing vendors who worked so hard to create their products and be on their feet all day, to the dedicated staff at the Glen House who helped set up for the event, moving tables and chairs, greeting guests, salting the parking lot, keeping the refreshments stocked—thank you all! We couldn’t have made this work without you. And of course, thank you to all who attended and supported local Canadian small businesses. Entry fee donations helped us raise $541.80 for the Gananoque Food Bank. Huge thanks to everyone that dropped a twoonie (or more) in the jug upon entry. Well done, everyone! 👏 On an unrelated note, the resort will be closed for the winter season to the public until late winter. Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and see you all again in 2026!

We’re pleased to announce that our very first Christmas Market will be taking place Sat. Dec. 6 from 10am-4pm inside the Glen House Resort. Entry tickets will be available at the door for $2/person with all proceeds going to the Gananoque Food Bank. On Dec 6. from 10 am-4 pm come check out Brian from Wild Urban Finds at our indoor Christmas Market. Brian has searched high and low for awesome vintage cocktail glassware sets, beer steins, select retro home decor, and other cool antique pieces. They’ve also got cute handmade Christmas decorations by Laura Love. Maureen Haas crafts wearable art by needle felting onto vintage and pre-loved woollen garments. She also makes decorative art, both wool felted and painted pieces. Come check them and many other talented vendors out Dec. 6! 🎅🏻🎄⛄️
