The Lethbridge Rotary Dragon Boat Festival returns to Henderson Lake, bringing together teams from across Western Canada for an unforgettable weekend of racing, entertainment, and community celebration. From thrilling dragon boat competitions to live music, local food vendors, and a vibrant lakeside atmosphere, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

With more than 1,600 paddlers, 20,000 spectators, and hundreds of volunteers, the festival transforms Henderson Lake into one of Southern Alberta’s biggest summer gathering spots.

Visiting from out of town? Turn the event into a weekend getaway. Stay close to the action, explore Lethbridge, and soak up everything summer has to offer.
