Your adventure to Exploits begins in the heart of central Newfoundland in a small town called Lewisporte. Exploits is only accessible by boat and is approximately a 1 hour boat ride from Lewisporte. Part of the charm and uniqueness of Rosie’s Cottage is its off grid, remote conditions, and true isolation on the island. No ferries, no bridges, and no roadways so ensuring all your necessities and su

pplies are packed before leaving port is a must. Rosie’s cottage provides;
* Full kitchen with BBQ (food not included)
* Water dispenser and drinking water
* Full bathroom fitted with basic toiletries

Opening season is finally here and while the weather may not be perfect, we’re ready for another amazing summer at Rosie’s Cottage!! 🌊 ☀️

If you’ve been thinking about staying with us for a summer getaway, don’t wait too long! We’re already fully booked for June and August, with only a few dates remaining in July and September.

We can’t wait to welcome our guests for another wonderful season on Exploits Island! 🌊 🛥️

ITS ICEBERG SEASON!!! 🧊

Today the owners (my parents) took advantage of the beautiful weather to go hunting for bergs around Exploits and they were certainly not disappointed! Even the dogs had a blast being on the lookout! 🛥️

Although they won’t be impressed with me for sharing their selfie, they deserve all the recognition in the world! They pour their heart and soul into everything they do and Rosie’s Cottage is a prime example of just that! 🤍
