We are still open and guests are arriving and departing as usual. The only difference is we closed the Cabin until the end of the season. It’s a little smokey today but business as usual.

We are still open and campers/B&B and guests are still arriving. We are on Evacuation Alert and we spent the day setting up fire suppression équipement. Today is Bruce’s bday and this wasn’t what we thought we would be doing. Pingo thinks we are going camping as we packed our gear just in case we get an Order. ,

Yesterday/today,
Once again this is our new reality. Multiple times a day checking the smoke app, wikdfiresBC, DriveBc. Responding to guests about driving and smoke conditions. Making decisions for others when they are unsure of how to proceed. It takes on a lot of responsibility. They are usually from another country and have no idea how to navigate our road closures, smoke and wildfires. It becomes exhausting for us and them.
