Kent Inn provides you with clean, comfortable and affordable accommodations. We ensure that our customers are satisfied and their stay is pleasant. We are located in the heart of downtown Lindsay, in the City of Kawartha Lakes, walking distance to Ross Memorial Hospital, the Victoria Park Armouries, nature trails, and the Lindsay Farmer’s Market .

For 19 years, our small motel has been more than just a business to our family; it has been a huge part of our lives. Lindsay is where we raised our kids, built our roots, and invested not only in our property, but in the community that has supported us along the way.

We have always been proud to be a family run business, and we truly believe that matters. It means we care deeply about the people who stay with us, the standards we keep, and the fair, competitive pricing we continue to offer. We know there are more choices today, and we also know what sets us apart is something that can’t be built overnight ... genuine care, hard work, and 19 years of commitment to this community.

– Cleaner & Front Desk Staff (One Position) Kent Inn Motel – Lindsay, Ontario
The Kent Inn Motel, a family-run and well-respected business in Lindsay, Ontario, is seeking a dependable individual to join our team. This is a Monday to Friday position combining both cleaning responsibilities and front desk duties. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and able to deliver both excellent guest service and high standards of cleanliness.
Responsibilities
• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to Kent Inn standards (beds, linens, bathrooms, floors, dusting, vacuuming, etc.)
• Maintain the cleanliness of common areas as required
• Greet and check guests in and out, answer phones, and manage reservations
• Handle guest requests courteously and promptly
• Monitor lost and found, replenish supplies, and ensure a welcoming environment
Position Details
• Part-time, Monday to Friday
• Police check required
• Paid at provincial minimum wage plus any gratuities
• Previous experience in cleaning or customer service is an asset, but not required

• Own transportation is recommended

The Kent Inn is currently looking for a cleaner to start Sat. July 2nd. We are a family run respected business located in Lindsay Ontario. We take pride in our cleanliness and expect the same. Resumes can be dropped off at the Kent Inn Motel. No degree, certificate or diploma is required but experience in cleaning is an asset. The position is part-time Saturday and Sunday.

Without our loyal customers, friends and wonderful community that have supported the Kent Inn this 15th anniversary never would have happened. We're not just celebrating a decade and a half of business but 15 years of relationships with customers, staff, community members and the city itself. Today is a celebration not just for the Kent Inn but for the bonds, trust, commitments and for the people that have made this work and helped us grow. We're celebrating 15 years of being a part of the community, giving back, seeing it grow and evolve and being a part of its story. Today we celebrated by making a $1500.00 donation to the Kawartha Lakes Food Source. Thank you all.
