After 7 incredible years, I have decided to close for now and offer much-needed long-term rentals instead. Who knows what the future will bring, but we'll continue to be closed for short-term stays for at least 2024.

In the meantime, I'm finishing off a MSc degree in rural planning, doing climate change outreach and engagement with the County of Grey, and bartending at The Rumpus Room OS! Keep in touch!

A huge thank you to all the wonderful guests and supporters both in the community and from around the world! My heart has been filled many times over! 🥰🙏

Back in fall 2019, we hosted a one-of-a-kind, one-night backyard music fest with Rrampt called "Up Six at The Fitz". Dom Louis took the stage that night, along with Josh Ritchie and Mike Janetta.

A couple weeks ago, Dom took the stage at the legendary Massey Hall in , opening for none other than CAAMP. Wow!

I moved to this city and started playing on street corners. I can’t believe I’m taking the iconic stage tonight in support of the best of em’ . Let’s show them a good time and make some memories. Truly grateful x

Welcome! Complimentary Trail Access this weekend Oct 21-23! Before we wind down for the season we'd like to invite you for a complimentary experience here at RavenStar. This is to say a huge thanks to all the friends, family, volunteers and community for helping us get this new venture off the ground. With magical map in hand, wander our trails and discover ancient runes, land art, faery doors, gardens, geological secrets and more. Build a sculpture at one of our numerous sculpture platforms. Pause and connect in the meditation areas. Make music in the found sound area. For those who work up an appetite we'll have our forest bistro picnics available for $20 pp. (This weekend's menu includes garden vegetable panzerotti, fresh soup or salad, pear and plum tarte tatin and a seasonal beverage) Other snacks and beverages on hand too. FREE 2 hr parking downtown Lions Head (Main St south of Scott St & Webster)! We love our pedestrian friendly downtown where everything is close by! Park all day at the arena (or leave your car at The Fitz if you’re a guest) and hop on the FREE shuttle to the LH Lookout trailhead!
(Beach, marina & other streets are still paid so we can raise $$ to reinvest in our community)

Lion's Head Shuttle starts on July 1st, and will run every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until Labour Day. Park the car and take the shuttle.

Heading up the peninsula this summer? A few helpful tips! Book municipal parking in advance at northernbruceparking.ca (Lion's Head Lookout or Little Cove).

Consider a visit in Sept or Oct for a less crowded experience (especially if you plan to visit the Grotto or Tobermory)! We've got lots of availability for Sept/Oct (but pretty much booked up for July & Aug).

A nice friendly reminder from Grey County! Enjoy the beautiful canola, but be sure not to trespass and ruin the crop, or pull off in a dangerous way (because we all know what Hey 6 is like in the summer)! Slow down & stay safe out there!

We know canola fields like this one are picture perfect! Let’s make sure they stay that way by enjoying their beauty safely and responsibly.

• Never trespass in a farmer’s field. Crops are a family’s livelihood and entering them to take a photo can cause thousands of dollars' worth of damage. Trespassing is also illegal and could result in charges.

• Do not park on the shoulder of the road unless it’s an emergency. Shoulder parking is dangerous, especially for large vehicles and horse-and-buggy commuters.

• Be aware that a canola field in full flower can be a hay fever or asthma trigger. Keep your windows rolled up as you enjoy the scenery if this is a concern.
