What a year so far.

A year of big changes, unexpected challenges, very little sleep, and so much to be thankful for.

We’ve welcomed a whole new little person into our family, taken on more than we probably should have, and learned that sometimes it *really* does take a village.

We’re especially grateful for the family and friends who’ve shown up for us this year. Whether it was lending a hand, checking in, or simply being there when we needed them most.

Life looks a little different these days. A little louder, a lot messier, and somehow even better.

And to everyone who’s followed along, supported our little business, stayed with us, or cheered us on along the way, we’re so thankful for you too.

JK. That’s just dust from cutting the floor. 😭

Apparently, when you don’t have plumbing in the basement, this is what you have to do: break up the floor and start a dust rave. 🪩

One more very glamorous step toward putting this basement back together.

At some point, a good vacation stopped being about how many people we could squeeze in and started being about sleeping well, avoiding a bathroom lineup and letting the dogs out without having to put pants on.

Honestly, growth. 😅

A little bit of everything from our first full week back at The Farmhouse since the flood.

Framing is done, plumbing and electrical have been cleaned up and moved, the wood plank ceiling came down, and drywall has officially started in the storage room.

And, s**t hit the fan (floor). Literally. 💩😭

Outside of the basement chaos, Brynn is starting to crawl, the monarchs are out, and the evenings are starting to feel like fires and sweater season.

We had family over for Labour Day, and having everyone gathered here always reminds us why we got this place. The cozy interiors, room to gather, space to breathe, and all the beauty and nature around us.

It can absolutely put us through the wringer, but it’s still pretty special. 😅
