For better stamina, try the Japanese walking method:

“Three minutes of fast walking at roughly 70 per cent of your maximum effort—brisk enough that speaking in full sentences is difficult.

Three minutes of slower walking at roughly 40 per cent effort—comfortable, conversational pace.

Repeat five times for a 30-minute session.”

This is interval walking training—better known online as the “Japanese walking method”—and it’s quietly becoming the most sensible fitness trend Canadians could adopt.
