Comunn Gàidhlig is Eachdraidh Mhàbu / Mabou Gaelic and Historical Society is pleased to be hosting another historic walk this year called “Spinning a Yarn” to help kick off Mabou Ceilidh Days.

On Thursday, July 2, at 6:00 PM we hope you will join us as we gather to at the site of the former Glendyre Mills and learn the history, impact and importance of these mills to our community. Refreshments will be served.

Love a little mystery? Well, our Secret Waterfall Challenge is back! From May 15 to June 15, an extra Waterfall Season sign will be placed at an undisclosed waterfall somewhere on Cape Breton Island. 🤫 Your challenge is to find it! 🕵

Follow along on Cape Breton Island social media channels as we share clues that will lead you to this secret spot. In order to win, you must be the first person to find and scan the QR on the Waterfall Season sign, you will win a prize package of Baffin adventure gear and a 1-night stay at Archer's Edge Luxury Camping. 🎉
