Our stay at the Bayview is one of the most memorable days in Nova Scotia. Our arrival at dusk was surprisingly manageable: the hosts were very responsive and helpful. Walking on the beach at low tide in the morning was a gift and viewing the bay from our tent was a real privilege. What a gem!

You really wouldn't believe the beautie that you are surrounded by until you experience it.

I was almost a bit skeptical given the many extraordinary descriptions. But each one is correct. This is a very special place. The course's facilities have been lovingly thought out, and the natural spectacle of the ebb and flow of the tide is magnificent to watch here. Go there!!
It was really very special at Rising Tide Retreat, and we had an unforgettable evening.

Incredible view, incredible surroundings and incredible vibes. I absolutely recommend staying here. Being in the middle of the woods, they provide you with everything you could possibly need, including, not only a grill but also a full propane over+stove, flashlights, even wifi. If you accidentally forget something it’s there. The tents are extremely durable, and very spacious. Thank you again Thomas for the hospitality it is truly a beautiful space!! We had one of the best times ever in an air bnb!!

Tom and Kim were incredibly generous and kind hosts! We awoke each morning to a lovely view of the bay. The bed was PERFECT. The cookhouse EQUIPPED. Stayed a week and were mesmerized by the view of the bay (walk at low tide-such dramatic scenery!) Bald eagles a constant (binoculars in the cookhouse) Tom replenished our water and supplied cold packs for our cooler. Comfort and serenity. We learned a great deal about the area after visiting the Burnt Coat Park and had a fun hike at Nine Mile River Park. There is a fantastic community pool with hiking trails in Victoria. The fish and chips at the Mudslide Cafe (located at the oldest general store in Canada) are a must! Glamping heaven!!!
