⚠️ Important Update: SRDP Open Houses & Feedback Survey Postponed ⚠️

We would like to share an important update regarding the Manning Park Ski Resort Development Plan (SRDP) public engagement process.

Due to the ongoing Provincial election process, we regret to announce that our previously planned Public Open Houses and Feedback Survey will be postponed until a new government has been elected.

While we are disappointed to delay these opportunities for engagement, we remain committed to ensuring that our community members, partners, and stakeholders have the opportunity to review the plan, share their perspectives, and contribute meaningful feedback.

We look forward to reconnecting early in the new year, when we anticipate resuming our public engagement activities. Updated dates and further details will be shared as soon as they become available.

Every Fall, high in the mountains of Manning Park, something extraordinary happens. 🫶 As the days grow shorter and the mountain air turns crisp, our Alpine Larches begin their spectacular transformation. For a couple fleeting weeks, entire mountain sides seem to glow, trails wind beneath golden branches, and the landscape takes on a kind of magic that only autumn can create.

We call this wonder, Larch Madness. It’s one of nature’s most breathtaking—and beautifully brief—shows of the year.

While Mother Nature always sets the schedule, optimal Larch viewing typically falls between the last week of September and the first two weeks of October, depending on weather and seasonal conditions.
