Our Power Has Been Restored!

**Storm Update**

Last night's storm caused significant damage across many parts of Ontario, and our area was no exception. We are currently without hydro, and at this time we have not received an estimated restoration time.

The good news is that while there was a tremendous amount of cleanup to tackle, there was **no major damage to our guests' trailers or park property.** We've already cleared the vast majority of fallen trees and debris, and the park is safe to walk around. We'll continue tidying up over the next couple of days, but the heavy lifting is behind us.

**The essentials, however, are operating normally:**

💧 Our water system is fully operational.

🚿 Our shower house is open daily from **8:00 AM – 11:00 AM** and **5:00 PM – 8:00 PM**.

⚙️ Our sewage system is fully operational.

⚡ To help everyone stay comfortable while we wait for hydro to be restored, generators are permitted daily from **8:00 AM until 11:00 PM.** As always, we ask everyone to be courteous to their fellow campers by keeping generator noise to a minimum whenever possible.

We'd also like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who reached out, checked in on us, or lent a hand during the cleanup. We really appreciate it.

A sincere thank you as well to the Hydro One crews, emergency responders, and everyone working long hours across Ontario to restore power and help affected communities. We know it's a massive undertaking, and we appreciate everything you're doing.

We’re officially open for the 2026 season at Lazy Rock RV Park & Campground 🌲☀️

It’s shaping up to be a busy summer in our community, with events running throughout the season including Mattawa Voyageur Days, Smoke N Spurs, Thunder Valley and several new events bringing strong interest to the area.

🎄❄️ After a wonderfully busy summer, Lazy Rock has settled into winter mode.

The snow is falling, the lights are glowing, and we’re taking it easy—enjoying peaceful rides and walks through the park, and a well-earned rest.
