We are a family owned and operated Campground and Cottage Resort located in the beautiful town of Mattawa Ontario. We are situated on 2000 feet of the scenic Mattawa River with full access to the Upper Ottawa River, which is only a couple of hundred meters down river. It truly is a dream location where all types of outdoor pursuits can be enjoyed, from fishing, boating, swimming, hiking, ATVing, g

olfing, shopping and much much more. We have big rig friendly pull-though sites that make setting up camp a piece of cake. If you are not the camping type you can stay in one of our beautiful Cedar Cottages that have all the amenities of home. We have trailers for rent too, camp in comfort in our 2016 rental trailer. Our location is unsurpassed, located in the town of Mattawa, you can walk or cycle to town and enjoy the many delights in this picturesque town and still have all the benefits of the surrounding waterways and wilderness at your doorstep.

Well it rained on our picnic but we got to adopt out 18 teddy bears today! These bears have found new homes in caring families. Everyone made a necklace and a name tag for their bears, got an adoption certificate, a popcorn and teddy graham snack and a gummy bear sticker.

The teddy bears are anxiously awaiting their new families! So grab your $2 and head to the main beach for noon!

It’s sprinkling but we are under a tent so the picnic and adoption is on for 12! Bring an umbrella for your picnic blanket or a raincoat but it should only briefly sprinkle with luck!

The adoption and craft will happen no matter what and everyone get a beady-popcorn treat!

It’s Teddy Bear Picnic day!

Bring a blanket, $2 adoption fee and your picnic lunch for 12pm at main Beach area.

When you arrive set up your picnic blanket and start eating your lunch while we wait for everyone to arrive.

Then everyone will get to adopt a new teddy bear into your family, make a craft name tag necklace for your bear and you can make one for yourself too) and play a game.

See you at 12pm TODAY!

As always non campers are welcome with the purchase of a daypass.
