This is what you will typically see in the hours of 11am-1pm. This is our turn over time daily to make sure our guests have the best experience! If you wondering why we ask for our guests to wait until 1pm to check in, this is why!

McBride was gorgeous this weekend!
Our co-owner Christa got her drone out to capture just how beautiful it was! We have been very lucky this fire season, with minimal smoke and fires (knock on wood 🤞).

July 25, 2026 Update
We are aware of wildfire-related highway closures in other parts of British Columbia. At this time, Highway 16 through McBride and Jasper and Highway 5 through Valemount and Clearwater remain open. Travellers from the Lower Mainland can reach us via the Coquihalla Highway 5 through Kamloops.

Road conditions can change, so please check DriveBC before travelling, but there are currently no wildfire road closures in the McBride area preventing access to Beaverview RV Park & Campground.

We are experiencing some wildfire haze in the Robson Valley, as are many areas of British Columbia. Visibility at the campground remains good, the surrounding mountains are visible, and the sun is shining at this moment! Conditions can change hour to hour.
