The Story of a Log 🪵🌊
It might just look like an old log sitting on the banks of Barra Shores, but to us, it’s so much more.
It was here when we first bought the property. It was here when we sat around our very first campfire, dreaming about what this place could become.
Back then, we had a simple idea: to create an accessible cottage where we could make memories as a family and offer others the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful place, too. A place where every body belongs.
So much has grown from that simple idea, but the log remains.
Sometimes, when we see it sitting there against the backdrop of the water, it makes us stop for a moment. To reflect on how far we’ve come, where it all began, and the beauty of the landscape that drew us here in the first place.
It may not look like much to someone passing by, but to us, it’s a little piece of our story. A reminder that big dreams can start with simple beginnings.
And we think that’s worth holding on to. ❤️
