Steps from restaurants, shopping, historic sites and the Rideau Canal. Private keyless entry, fridge, in-room coffee/tea, and laptop table. XL twin beds provide flexibility and comfort. Relax with Roku TV and plenty of books (some by your Author, Author! hosts). In fine weather, enjoy quiet time on the verandah. Free street parking, off-street on request.
Hosted by Laurie Carter & Bruce Kemp: We are professional writer/photographers who have pursued our craft around the world as travel journalists. We have both published hundreds of magazine and newspaper articles and each authored several fiction and non-fiction books. Members of the Merrickville Artists Guild (MAG), we also offer our photo art for sale. We're passionately interested in history and local culture, and take great pleasure in getting to know like-minded people who love to expand their horizons through travel.
