Hotel Midway

Hotel Midway could be your base camp for long and satisfying hunting days.

These two gentlemen were out for the day by 4AM and didn’t get home until dark. They were completely wonderful guests, so I’m putting out the call. Do you hunt? Do you want to stay at Hotel Midway? Give us a call!

Photo credit to Chris Goes! I get excited about photos that guests take of our little hotel. There’s often an angle or perspective that I haven’t thought about it, and it’s very cool!

Gavin, I love this review! The destination aspect is a serious goal of mine, and this is the first affirmation I’ve had for that. I think once we get our bar open we’re going to turn that ‘may be worth the trip’ into a ‘totally worth the trip’!

See you on your next visit to Hotel Midway!

Somebody asked me if our rooms are clean, so I thought I’d better get a room pic out!

My best friend is worried about me. So here’s the deal. If you want to follow me, amazing, cool, believe me I like it, but can you choose a different post to follow me from?

A sincere thank you, as me and my bestie navigate this situation.

Of nine original hotels built along the Kettle River, only Hotel Midway is still standing.

The Hotel rooms on the second floor host guests from all over BC, Canada, and the world, and I’m pretty sure they are even getting pretty good reviews. Especially room #3.

Welcome to our quirky & historic hotel!

Full of personality, steps to the Kettle River, in a peaceful, walkable community!

At Hotel Midway, we find it hard to centre things. So we’ve decided, that if you off-centre it enough, it looks deliberate.

Seriously though, if you’re looking for a hidden gem for a night’s rest, Midway through your journey, we are totally here for you.

We just want you to know, we’re building a certain type of environment here at Hotel Midway ;)

Can’t wait to finally get this bar open and welcome you all! It’s still gonna take some time; I’m doing my best to figure it out, a little bit at a time.

I’ve been asked no less than three separate times if I am part of the mafia. Three separate mafias. Um…no?

I’m just an eccentric who spends sunny days cleaning old things in her driveway.

Hotel Midway (aka me) is currently accepting cobweb covered old things to put up on the walls! Or sit on. I need more chairs for my old chair collection.

“the Tape”

I don’t know which level I’m at, or even how many there are, but I’ve started calling the tape measure just: THE TAPE.

Please go ahead and start in with your jokes about how we should be using a level too, but let me tell you…trying to use a level at Hotel Midway only leads to two things. Frustration or laugh-crying.
