This page was created to share the dream, and our vision, of building an eco-tourism business that revolved around our shared love of the natural environment surrounding our farm. Situated on 208 acres of picturesque privacy! This private forested escape is nestled up against the 11,000 acres of unspoiled Ganaraska Forest (One Of The Largest Forested Blocks In All Of Southern Ontario) which offers access to a wide variety of recreational opportunities, both on and off the property.
In the early 1940s, the property served as a popular tree farm. Over the years, portions of each crop have been allowed to grow to maturity. The purpose of this approach has been twofold. To provide a long-term investment in timber while providing a beautiful, healthy ecosystem that could be enjoyed by our future guests and visitors. Today, we are still looking to the future and only harvesting what is needed, sourcing expert advice and techniques to preserve the land. We have never used chemicals or pesticides and do our best to give back to the earth. Our business has recently expanded into yearly the planting of fruit trees, nut trees, and wildflowers, which all help to support the local flora and fauna.
Our hope is that we will find someone to fulfill our vision of becoming a steward of the land, complete our plans for building a barn and greenhouse, along with a number of luxurious glamping accommodations to share that share that vision and experience with members of the public looking for a luxurious escape to nature in a unique location, unlike any other in Southern Ontario.
