UPDATE**** our internet is working again - thank you Starlink for sending us new hardware
The resort remains unaffected by the flooding, for which we are very thankful, and we are getting ready to welcome our first guests in May 1st
As many of you are aware much of the island is under a state of emergency including Mindemoya.
We had a severe winter storm that had us with no power for 3 days and then over the weekend severe rain which has caused massive flooding.
The resort is fine so far and Rob is monitoring things closely. However, our Starlink hardware has failed and we are currently waiting for the delivery of the new items. As a result we have no internet and cannot process payments over the phone. We will update once this has been resolved.

It’s been the worst winter on Manitoulin according to long time residents. We are definitely anxious for it to be over and for the season to start.
