This Saturday at the Dominion Hotel and Pub. Former lead vocalist and bassist of the iconic Canadian country roots band Prairie Oyster, Russell deCarle is no stranger to awards and accolades — his “Oyster years” were rewarded with six Juno Awards and more than a dozen Canadian Country Music Awards. His warm, burnished voice is perfect for an intimate concert with his mix of southern soul, jazz, blues, old-school country, and western swing. Russell and his trio sold out their show last year at the Dominion. Get tickets early to avoid disappointment. Russell will be performing with his trio which includes the brilliant guitar picker, Steve Briggs. Those of you who have seen Steve know that watching him play guitar is worth the price of admission alone!
