❄️ WINTER IS COMING, LADIES! 🛞

As wheeling season winds down across Ontario, it doesn’t mean the fun has to stop!

For most of us, the trails will soon be covered until spring—but Minden Off-Road Park keeps the gates open year-round, with some seriously exciting winter trails waiting for those who are ready to embrace the cold. ❄️🔥

And remember… snow isn’t just snow!

Powder, packed snow, slush and ice can all drive completely differently. What worked on the last trail may not work on the next one.

🚙 Know your terrain.
🛞 Understand your traction.
❄️ Adjust your driving to the conditions.
💪 And most importantly—know what your 4x4 can handle.

Winter wheeling isn’t about simply powering through. It’s about reading the trail, making smart decisions and having the skills and confidence to handle whatever Mother Nature throws at you.

So, while Ontario's regular wheeling season may be coming to an end, winter wheeling is just getting started! 😉

Please take notice that the bridges in downtown Minden will be CLOSED on April 17th as of 7:00 p.m.

This includes Sunnybrook Bridge (Bobcaygeon Rd - on the main street) and Loggers Footbridge (near Canadian Tire).

Bridges will be closed to all traffic, including pedestrian and vehicles, until further notice.

We ask the community to direct flood related questions to the Public Inquiry Centre via email [email protected] or call 705-286-1260.

If there is immediate danger anytime, contact 911.

With the town currently in a state of emergency, we are still open and here if you need us. Our hearts are with everyone in Minden and the surrounding areas affected by the recent flooding. We’re keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

We’ve been truly moved by the way this community has come together—neighbours helping neighbours, lending a hand wherever it’s needed. That kind of support makes all the difference.

While we haven’t been directly impacted by the flooding here, our trails have some areas of wear due to the rain and melt, and the river crossing is currently running high.

A huge thank you goes to for stepping in with his mini ex to repair the eroding water crossing and help improve the situation—he’s got to get back through the trails somehow! We’re hopeful this will make a difference as we look ahead to warmer and drier weather.
