A few nice fish caught this week in spite of the weather conditions. A 30 degree drop in the daytime highs and 6 straight days of wind and white caps made for tough fishing. The weather has improved and the fishing is getting better.
The Downs group just send me some pics from week 3 when the temps were warm and some very nice fish were caught.

The Flatness group got into some great fish, 2 of the guys joined the 40" club.
The weather thus far in the season went from cold to hot, now cool and windy. May was very dry, finally got an inch of rain on Wednesday evening.
Fishing has been good the past couple weeks with the hot weather.
We had a scary opening weekend at the landing. A downed power line started a fire, burning 1 residence and a couple sheds, spreading thru the parking area. Hats off to our guests, the Cochran group for saving our truck and a couple boats in the nick of time.

Another fishing season is upon us. The walleye season opens on Saturday.
Water level is perfect for the start of the season.
Due to a short notice cancelation the walleye cabin is available may 29th to june 5th. It has 4 beds. If interested call or text me, 330 466 4594.
