There’s something kind of magical about hearing a strange sound in the woods… stopping for a moment… and wondering, what was that?

Our beautiful bird-loving friend Ashley Sprague introduced us to the Merlin Bird ID app, and honestly… it’s amazing.

You simply open the app while walking outside, and it listens to the birds around you in real time, identifying calls and songs, even when the birds are hidden deep in the trees. Suddenly the forest feels alive in a whole new way.

It turns birdwatching into a kind of treasure hunt… part curiosity, part wonder, part peaceful obsession. 🖤

Highly recommend for nature lovers, hikers, kids, curious minds, or anyone wanting to feel a little more connected to the living world around them.

You may just become a bird watcher without even realizing it. 🙃. Link for app comments…just a terrific nature connection tool!
