Hello all,

We received the following devastating news from Simon Cassegrain, about John Stenning, a longtime member of the VMC:

“It is with great sadness that I share the news that our friend and fellow member John Stenning has passed away.

John was a warm and familiar presence in our circle, he was our sergeant-at-arms, and many of us have fond memories of his love of magic and the kindness he showed to those around him.

He will be deeply missed. If you would like to share your own memories of John, you can find it here:

Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones at this difficult time.

We will communicate more information regarding the broken wand ceremony shortly. “

Roy Hopwood
President - The Vancouver Magic Circle

Our deepest condolences to John’s family and friends - he will be truly missed 💔
