The large rooms are spacious and bright. The house has 84 windows!! The beautiful century home is large, spacious and "the hostess is most welcoming."

The beautiful century home is large, spacious. “The hostess is most welcoming." Many guests have said coming to the Downtown Bed and Breakfast say it's "like being at home." “The French Toast is worth getting up for." (until 8:15 am). Heart starting, great coffee starts the day, along with hearty home cooked breakfast. “ Served in the formal dining-room. (until 8:15 a.m.) Banana bread, applesauce are also frequently on the menu and are all homemade.Products where possible, locally sourced.
The hostess claims that the house, which has 84 windows, making it bright and cheery even on the most dismal of days is a “House of Magic and Coincidence.” There is a lounge, for lounging about in, complete super duper WIFI thru out the heritage home.
The second floor lodgings are decorated in 1950's antiques with comfortable double beds, one room with twin beds. Each room has a chest of drawers & desk. (to write the great novel on.) The rooms are spacious enough to be able to take a cot for the extra person in your party. The large rooms are not too fancy, but clean, and bright. Each room has a terry robes, and towels -- "hung to dry" in the great outdoors -- to make yourself at home with.
The Downtown Bed and Breakfast, is located within easy a two minute stroll to restaurants micro pubs, dancing and theaters. Easy driving to the beach in the summer time. Moncton, “the big little city” is charming, just like the hostess after she has had her tea. You will be warmly greeted by Linda and her beautiful Golden Retriever Lucy Patricia, 13. 5 years old. (The Irish cat, you may see in some of the reviews, named Murphy the Road Scholar from Little Shemogue, left to go the great beyond at 18.5 years of age.) All had very good manners and were at your fingertips for a pat.
